Camera Insurance

Post by Scubie Doo »

My gear has been insured through DAN's H2O insurance policy for the past couple years. I recently had to submit a claim for a flooded housing bulkhead. Ikelite had to replace my housing and sync cord. The claim was processed quickly and easily. They even covered the shipping costs to and from the manufacturer. It took about 1 week to get my insurance check in the mail. Just wanted to give a shout out to the insurance, couldn't be happier with their service. Also, Ikelite's service is second to none. Their housing may not be as nice as Aquatica or Nauticam. However, they stand behind their products like no other.

That is awesome. I think I had it awhile back but switched to a Chubb blanket policy - can't remember why I did now. Great to hear of a claim going smoothly, unfortunate as the flood was in the first place.
