Florescent Photography

Jesse and several others were pondering about florescent photography in the PNW at our last ThThTh

I have a friend who's done it, here's what he said about it when I asked:

"up here some anemones fluoresce bright green and so do some crabs and shrimp. Kelp fluoresces red or brown. Some hermits look cool because they fluoresce green and the stuff growing on their shells fluoresce brown or red. I've only been out fluoro diving a few times. Need to get out more."

Anybody else have experience with this?

Interesting. There is a lot of "extra" components to photograph this. Maybe we should try a dive without photography first??? Just a thought.

That's sort of what he recommends, I think. You wear a special mask and dive with a special light.
