Well done, Chris.
I am sure you could do it without me. Actually, you did this without me. :)

But it was because of you and the jellyfish event and us talking that I got to experience it...
Thank you my friend I hope to see you soon

The moon jellies are at Driftwood pond I don't know if they're still there and I don't know how or why this pond supports life because it's brackish water...
I saw post and reached out to Jan and he said the pond is full of moon jellies which I thought was completely weird ? And not possible... But sure enough the pond is full of moon jellies

Ah, thanks! Now I know. This post from Jan shows the park and pond locations.

If anyone wants to dive [them] with me, please give me a shout!

60south,
Yes the Moon jellies are still there as of April 19th. Just make sure you dive what I named Pond #1.
There is not one Moon jelly in Pond 2, but lots of very small Water jellies. And you don't find one of them in Pond#2. It is really weird that it is so considering how close to each other they are...

Really nice movie, thanks! It reminded me of maybe 5 years ago, early in my diving career, when a buddy and I did a night dive at Three Tree. We had heard bioluminescence was active so agreed to turn off our lights periodically and check. Coming back, we got some flashes. Then, near shore, we ran into a school of thousands of small moon jellies and it was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. The jellies were clearly eating the dinoflagellates, so when we waved our hands through the water, the rims and tentacles of the jellies nearby all lit up. (No, no pictures :-( It only occurred to me later that video might have picked up something.) So if you ever hear bioluminescence is active and there is somewhere with a lot of moon jellies:
1) tell me immediately!
2) get over there after dark for an unforgettable experience.

Biked across on the ferry today with snorkeling gear and took a look. They're still there! Very fun. Not as many as in your video, but still a great afternoon splashing around in the lake.
