Strobe Maintenance

Post by Stu »

I have an older strobe (Nik 105), I replace the large battery oring often but am worried about the seal at the switches coming apart one day. Anyone have any experience with these seals? Should I attempt to take it apart? Bring it in somewhere to get serviced? Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Hi Stu,

Southern Nikonos has a good reputation for repairing your strobe.

Alternatively, you can send it down to Backscatter in Monteray for Annual Service ( ~ $125).

Good Luck,
