So if this isn't enough to visit what will it truly take? :joshsmith:

mmmmmm, Spiny lobsters! Better snag some if it's legal this time of year. Looks like they are getting ready to migrate to deeper water.

Lobsters in Florida. Isn't the season just a day or two when the hordes who haven't been in the water since the last season go out and drown? I know from personal experience  that the Mexican spiny lobsters like to hang out a little too close to the urchins.

Sport Season is 27 and 28 July this year, where daily limits are 12 each. That is when ALL the crazies go out.

Regular season opens up on 6 Aug and runs through March, with a daily limit of 6.

Come on down and dive with us. Lobsters are a plentiful!

I don't understand the "dinner" part. Is there tofu stashed behind those lobsters or something?

Pinata? Hmm... I bet you'll bring some extra attention if you hang a lobster from a tree and open it with a baseball bat.

That actually does not sound like too bad of an idea... :partydance:

Typically, aftert they get off the frill, I am so anxious to eat, I end up burning my hands trying to get them open with scissors while they are still hot. hot lobster does better with the melted butter for some reason.

I got me a tree and a bat. Come July 28th, batter up, THEN, butter up.... hehehe

apparently when/if I get stationed there again. I was gonna come this year, but Momma put the keebash on that. I think she is worried that I've forgotten how to use a drysuit. :-)
