Post by KneeDeep »

I liked Big Island Divers when I was there in October.

Jack's Diving Locker for the manta and blackwater dives.

Kohala Divers if you're heading north up the coast.

http://www.konadivingcompany.com/Pages/default.aspx has a DM named Billy that has time in the PNW and working with Bob. He is a great guy and understands the differences between diving here and there.

It was nice to see someone in HI with a BP/W and a can light

Kona Honu was great for the manta dive. Kohala divers was nice for the blackwater dive. Jackson Seay is a great guide to shore dive puako. And make sure you hit place of refuge (aka two-step) shore dive. My personal favorite dive in Hawaii.
