Harstine island diving

Post by Nwcid »

We are headed to the west side of the state next week to visit some relatives. They have a house right on the water, on the west side of Harstine island approximately at the tip of Squaxin island.

We are considering bringing our dive gear with us. Has anyone ever dove this area? Are there any known hazards in the area?

Thank you
John

Don't bother its a narrow channel of strong currents and mud

I agree, most spots I've dove down there are mudflats, and the spot you're talking about is pretty shallow. Sooner or later I will find a spot around there worth diving twice!
