Your Holiday Wish List

Thought it would be fun to talk about what you'd like Santa to bring you this year.

Maybe your top 2 things and one stocking-stuffer
- and why you would like that particular make / model.

My top two:

1. A shell dry suit. I'm getting tired of diving wet. Have been looking at a DUI TLS350 (quality but pricey) or Gravity Zero Ranger TXT (quality and affordable).

2. Halcyon backplate BC set up for a single tank. Have been looking hard at DIR concepts and, for several additional reasons (including an aging BC), I'd like to move to a backplate BC. Not ready for doubles yet, but someday I will be!

Stocking Stuffer:
A new low volume mask, this time a black skirt. For a few years, I've been diving a Cressi-Sub Big Eyes with a clear silicone skirt which I love, but there is an intermittant pesky leak that developed on the left side I have been unable to track down. (either that, or my head is cracked!)

And hey! - I've even been a good boy this year!!!

I want Santa to bring me...

1. A High Tide SE drysuit.. I don't know how he's going to get it to fit me exactly but hey, he's Santa he can do anything right?

2. An underwater digital camera.. I like the Sea & Sea one.. I don't need the 8 megapixels 5 will be just fine, but if Santa wants to be generous...

3. For my stocking stuffer, I really need a better light so maybe a C8..

I'm asking Santa for:

1. Salvo 21w HID with Li-ion battery.
2. 3 days of wreck diving in Ft. Lauderdale around a business trip!
Stocking stuffer: an argon bottle and reg. Of course, a week in Bonaire would be fine too.

I asked "SANTA" and have on good authority I will get:

1. Techniflex USIA suit... DRY! Finally!

2. Canon A630 with UW housing.

I would really like, but perhaps was not 'good enought to get'..

I would love a trip to somewhere warm.... the tickets would fit in my stocking....

Since at the moment, I don't have anyone "special" in my life, hint, hint, hint I will appeal to the masses to take care of me.


Things that I would love to get:

1. I registered for just about every critter ID book that I don't already have. You can find the list at amazon.com, check out the wish list for Tim Renz.

2. I think I already have at least one of every other dive accessory, except for a dive scooter, but, it wouldn't be any use unless I got two, one for me and one for my buddy.

For a stocking stuffer -

Plane tickets for my kids to go to Hawaii with me this summer, I already have mine, but am waiting for the rates to go down so that they can go with me. PM me for details if you want to know what dates to buy the tickets for.

And a last request, I would like for my 13 year old to keep his grades up so that he can get certified in January. If any of you can help out with that. I would be forever in your debt.

i have only a few want items...pretty spendy though

1. CF200x DUI drysuit (cera is right, its getting a bit chilly)

2. Casio EXLIM EZ-1000 and housing

3. A ticket to New Zealand to visit the mom and do some diving!!!

It won't fit in my stocking or under the tree but I would love to get my dream dive boat. Something like an 21' Al Northriver set up for diving.

NOW I just need to win the lottery.

I guess the Zodiac will have to surfice for another year.

I'm fairly content with my gear, even with most of it being second hand, but...
1. Achilles SU-18 inflatable raft, should be big enough for solo oregon diving ...or diving with my 30 new friends i'll meet next week

2. Halcyon ss plate with doubles wing 60# for my set of 160 dubs

ss. two din adapters for two of my regulators for my yet to finish 144 dubs

ok santa, i've been a cool cat. i would like a cochran dive computer rated to a 200 ft depth, my cavern diving course, my wreck diving course, 2 nitrox tanks ( hp 80 ), and my underwater vidieography course.

and a stocking stuffer, a dry snorkel.
