New boat to dad and I. 30' Searay

Post by Sabre_Rider »

New to us, a 30' searay weekender, twin 260 hp inboards, 19 knot cruise speed at 12 gph, and 34 knot wide open. She's 30' long, 11'6" wide and weighs 12,000 lbs. Unfortunately won't be diving out of her as she will be moored in Ilwaco, Wa. and the columbia river kinda messes up the vis. But who knows, got a trailer and a dodge diesel to tow her, maybe take her somewhere in the winter for diving.

Pretty boat!

(But what good is a boat, if you aren't going to dive off it? :) )

Well dad's health isn't that great and he loves salmon fishing, so making him happy is more important now I think.

Very Nice!

Nice looking boat! I used to fish a lot at the Columbia river by Ilwaco when I had a boat back then. Fun times. I wish your dad the best of health and quality fun times fishing off this boat.
When was the last time you did something for the first time?
