Lots easier for your buddy to keep track of you in bad viz? Easier to ID who your showing that cool fish too and who those fins belong to on a dive boat full of people all dressed in black, and just plain cool lookin. :supz:

That's OK those guys at Leisure pro will dicker on price if you call in. I got mine for $119 brand new first runs. They list at what Hollis sez they have to but they are allowed to sell for what ever they want as long as it's not advertised. I don't think they have the yellow tip bat fins though.

I'm confused. Are yellow tips cool or not cool?

Depends on your personal point of view and your own mind set. Some think they are cool, others probably not. That's what make the world interesting. :neener:

airsix, they are the new cool. They will make you swim faster, dive deeper, and come up drier.

I need to get out and try a pair of these sometime soon. I bought the split fin apollo bio fins for $$$ :BDub: because i was told they would be easier on my knee injuries... I think I just got talked into buying more expensive fins  either way I have noticed its a bitch to keep up with people using these hollis fins or those scubapro ones that alot of people use when i am diving with them as they haul ass in those fins! Plus I want to learn to frog kick and all that great stuff...

I spray painted the superman logo on the bottom of my all black F1s for the same effect.

Anyone know what size foot a regular is for the F1's? Or know where to find a sizing chart?

I wear about 8.5 - 9 depending on the fit of the shoe or boot.

I wear size 12 Rock boots and the hollis XL wouldn't fit. The XXL's are very snug.

I had similar complaints when I bought mine. I did a dive at Sund rock with Tomnic and after the dive he complained about me moving to fast??? ME??? the 65 year old dude that moves like a snail??? I thought I was just toddling along at a gentle pace! :smt064

Since then most of my dive buddies have bought hollis bat fins.

Spraying the foot pockets with silicone every now and then works wonders !
