Well technically it's a Salvo light, but this happened last night at Bubbles & Suds!

Anyone know where to get the spare parts to fix it? Radio Shack?

Looks like an Anderson Connector. A quick search will find numerous sources online, such as http://www.batteryspace.com/connectorad ... arate.aspx

Perhaps the one you have can be repaired? This might be helpful: https://powerwerx.com/help/powerpole-as ... structions

I figured either you or Richard would have the answer, Mike!

Yes, I hope I can just fix it myself with something simple.

Vetco (at 520 and Northup in Bellevue) has them in stock. There's two parts - the shell and the interior connector (which is silver plated). They come in several sizes. Super cheap.

I have some at home, but I'm on the road for work, or I'd just give you one...

or mail order from powerwerx.

You can get just the contacts, as your housing is still good.

Its a 15 amp Anderson connector. You only need a new little metal tab that's inside the plastic housing. The metal tab can be extracted with a dental pick but they are one-time use items. I have some along with the proper crimper. They are cheap online, I don't know of a local place to buy one. You can sort of make due with other types of crimpers or soldering it on in a pinch. The key is not to squash the tube so much it won't fit inside the plastic housing.

If you want a couple I can mail them to you. Or get them here https://powerwerx.com/anderson-power-po ... connectors

Had the same thing happen to the Anderson connector on my scooter. If you take it over to Vetco (the place Cam mentioned above) they will crimp it for you. It should cost you about $2 for the fix.

Perfect, I'll be driving right by Vetco later today, BillZ!

If that doesn't work I can take Richard up on his kind offer. Great info here guys, thanks!

I got spares, Calvin ... I can give a set to Michael when I see him tomorrow if it'll get to you quick enough. In fact, since I switched to a different style of battery, I will give you all of them ... I won't need them anymore ...

Oh wow, thanks Bob!

It's good to have connections with (electrical) connections. Ha!

I just wanted to say thank you for all the advice on this thread. Went to Vetco and fixed my light yesterday!

Bob, I will still take those connectors as spares from Mike when I see him, assuming you have no use for them. Gracias amigo!
