Leaky Wing

Post by Gdog »

So I found a small leak in my DSS wing. I can send it in for repair, but that will leave me wingless! Was wondering if anyone has a spare wing I could perhaps borrow or rent for a couple weeks?

Did you also find out where your suit is leaking?

Thanks Kirsten, I think I've found one. Stephen, I was so tired yesterday I didn't even look for the suit leak.

Just patch it. It's not rocket science.

You can just patch the pinhole with aquaseal. If the hole is near the dump valve you can get it from the inside. I'm curious, did DSS agree to patch it? In the past Tobin has refused to patch a wing.

DSS said $50 to replace the bladder. It wasnt Tobin, just the gal who answered the phone. I would patch it myself, but I cant seem to find/reach the leak, and for that price a new bladder is preferrable to me.
