Getting Hog regs serviced in the Puget Sound

I have a bunch of Hog D1, D2 and D3s tha all need servicing. A while ago, one shop said "We don't take that stuff from China" the other looked at my reg in my hand and said "We don't do those here" ... I was getting an o-ring ಠ_ಠ

Has anyone tried sending their regs away to DRIS or ScubaToys?

You may call Don Peterson at Octopus Garden. If he can't do them he will, if he knows, tell you where to take them. At very least he will be friendly and perhaps informative.

Don is not a HOG dealer but Tacoma Scuba is, Josh can do them for you.

Thank you all for the suggestions. I need to find out if they still offer the servicing class...

Aren't HOGs Apex copies?
Parts interchangeable?
Don't own either brand, but I'm under that impression for some reason.
(FWIW, I do my own regs - ScubaPro, Mares, Aqualung, Oceanic)

Not perfect copies by any measure but yes.

Tacoma Scuba is the place if you don't want to pursue the class and DIY route.

I have 8 so taking the class was certainly the way to go

Al Frazier, servicing as Bubbles Below (yes, it still lives, sort of) will service HOG regs (he did a friend's reg set not too long ago). He works full time for Kenmore Air and does reg service in his "spare" time -- but was very prompt.

TDI maintains the list of (HOG) regulator service instructors, ask them
https://www.tdisdi.com/

(Josh at Tacoma Scuba is one)

I have taken HOG regulators into 5th dimension to get serviced before, although they are not HOG dealers
