Float bags

Post by Cetacea »

I’m seeking about 10,000 pounds of lift capacity in lift bags to rent or purchase for a recovery project. Anyone have any to sell or rent or know a good place to start. Internet has bags from 50 pounds to 100,000 pounds for purchase. Buying used or renting would be preferred.

You might try contacting Bruce Higgins and/or talking to the folks over at Underwater Sports in Edmonds. Bruce uses large plastic drums for lifting boulders at the Edmonds Underwater Park. The only way I know to contact Bruce is to show up Saturday or Sunday morning at 9:00am at the underwater park there...probably easier just to call UWS. They might be able to give you some ideas.

10,000 lbs of lift would be roughly 25x 55-gallon drums. Yikes!

Must be a big boat on the bottom... Good luck.
