You can get air in :

Astoria
Garibaldi-Doug's diving (503)322-2200
Newport-Port of Newport- Marina store-541-265-7758
Florence- Central Coast Water Sports-541-997-1812
Eugene= Eugene Skin Diver's Supply-541-342-2351
North Bend (coos Bay)-Sunset Sports-541-756-3483

That should help Oregon coast divers as far as air fills.

Good diving

As of about a year ago, Doug had closed his shop in Garibaldi and was only doing commercial clam diving. I don't know if this is still true. Confirmation would be great. Just FYI.

The list is edited and updated. I can't help it if stores close and new ones open. So now it's up dated.

I just moved from Seattle to Portland and I'd like to avoid becoming a certified cyberdiver! Once my field season winds up (probably in October) I should have some weekends free if people are looking to fill carpools north to the canal or to the sound. I look forward to meeting more Oregon divers in person, to diving some of your local sites and to sampling some Oregon beers.

Cheers!

Ross
While it's generally acknowledged that wetsuit divers are a shade or two crazier than the rest of us, we're all special idiots for voluntarily diving in dark, cold, water! - scottsax

Ross, glad you got all moved in!
We all pretty much just set our cars on auto-pilot and make that drive up north. Hearing Seattle divers whine :angry: about having to drive 1.5 hours to go diving doesn't sit too well with us down here :)

But you'll acclimatize nicely. The really cool thing is that it gives you pretty much an equal opportunity to split off at Olympia to dive Hood Canal sites as well as Puget Sound sites. Same distance and travel time.
