Looking for crabbing, clamming, etc. buddy

A place for Oregonians to plan a car-pooling road trip, find a nearby diveable mudhole, and meet new local dive buddies.

Looking for crabbing, clamming, etc. buddy

Post by FarmerMike »

I have no experience crabbing, clamming, etc. on the OR coast and all of my cold water dives are near Seattle but I would love to find an experienced buddy from whom I can learn. If there are any OR divers (or WA for that mater) who need another buddy, let me know. I live near Estacada, OR (Clackamas) and can get to the coast in about 3 hours depending on where we dive. Thanks!

I'll let you know the next time I'm heading out there. Haven't done any crabbing but I know Tillamook Bay is full of clams past where humans with rakes can reach them. There's also some nice sites there to check out the sea life. I will have a boat this summer which will make coastal diving much nicer.

Hey Farmermike, I would be interested in diving the local
coast sites for crab, fish, etc. I have experience in doing
these activities on the southern Oregon coast but I have
little familiarity with the north coast. That said, if you are
Interested, perhaps we could try a few sites and see how
It goes. Let me know...
