You know, I have been preaching the beauty of the diving in Oregon for several years. It was sort of gratifying to have someone confirm what I have been saying. I do think most of the best diving is to be had from a boat. So thanks for posting.

I believe this is the official video - about 20 minutes in length. http://watch.opb.org/video/2334919238/

It's fun to see the diving at Oregon Coast!

Interesting video. I've got to get out there more often.

When I talked to the guy who bought South Beach Scuba in October he was talking about having a six pac up and running in spring. You might want to shake his chain.

We should find some dates where the tides are good and plan a trip. We'd need a fourth diver or a dedicated boat driver.

I have a solution. I just want to own a boat. :)

I am in! If you don't have someone in mind for a 4th I could easily get someone!

If a boat/charter comes together, I'd be into it for sure.

We could do that. The conditions usually start improving out there within the next month or so. We dove Three Arch Rocks last year in late April. I'll take a look at tides. I'd like to take a trip or two down to Newport and Depoe Bay this year too.

I'll take people out to the coast for free btw. They just have to show up and roll with the conditions, which can be a little unpredictable, especially in spring. Donations are accepted though :)
