Redondo 12/1
Met up with alot of Thursday divers Ron,Keith,James, mike and those for which my memory does not serve well. I will leave dive report to anyone who wants to post the adventures. I will post some pics as they speak for themselves.

Nice job on that second Lumpie Jeff.
You missed getting a pic of the most beautiful thing in the water though.

Re: Redondo 12/1
Here are a few of my least crappy pics from tonight....
The highlight of my night was when we dropped in to about 10' of water on the south side and I was immediately bombarded by a large number of squid. I could actually feel them bouncing off of my shoulders and my head.
Very cool.....

He's become pretty enamored with himself since he attached the dome port to his housing.........pogiguy05 wrote:Wow Ron took a very nice pic of one of the largest LUMPIES I have seen to date.I did not know they needed a mask thoughgutholmj wrote:Nice job on that second Lumpie Jeff.

Re: Redondo 12/1
Okay this is my third try at posting some pics of this Dive!
My first successful lumpy pictures!
Pogiguy found at least ten of them and I took about 50 pictures and got at least two really good pictures!
sometimes, I don't have the patience for macro photography.
"Thanks guys, for showing me a new part of Redondo!"

Nice Keith! It took me two years to finally get a lumpie photo as good as yours.
Now you just need to stop touching the fish. Think about the poor fish when he got home that night.
"Okay Nemo, use this doll to show me where the scuba diver touched you?"

Hey, 2 out of 50 ain't a total waste!
It's not just the photo it's what you do with it!
this is what the last one looks like with a bit of PSP magic.

Re: Redondo 12/1
Here's a few I was able to get.
First dive to the carousel boat:
While checking out the h u g e GPO under the boat while everyone else was playing with Junior - a flurry of action erupted off to my right. A Buffalo Sculpin looked like he was trying to cough up a lung (gill?):
A closer look:
He ends up coughing out a shaggy mouse - and rests for a moment, trying to recover:
Not sure the shaggy survived the star, however:
More dive buddies showed up in time for the second dive. Instead of searching for lumpies, we ended up heading out toward no-man's land, west of the reflector piles.
And then I found my first Skate!
Being all excited about the finding the skate, I racked up with a few minutes in the penalty box. I spent the time playing with my G10, trying all sorts of differnent settings - seeing what worked and what didn't. Ended up getting a couple decent shots.
A great evening of diving!
