MMM Report 3/11/13

Monk, Coulterboy and I had a nice dive last Monday, with a brief appearance by Jacksonbrown.
Nothing really unusual in the critter department, but vis was fantastic.

Nice vid Jake. You got me there goofing off on the last minute out of our 46 min. dive. So nice to just drop and lay supine and look up to see the ambient light penetrating the water.

You can find a similar compass if you google "boat console compass". There's a lot to choose from.

Amazon. It's a kayak compass. Pretty pointless for what we were doing Monday, but for a dive where you're going to cover some distance on flatter ground it's really easy to hold a course.

Amazon. It's a kayak compass. Pretty pointless for what we were doing Monday, but for a dive where you're going to cover some distance on flatter ground it's really easy to hold a course.
I bought one after we talked a few weeks ago, I like it. Yes it is kinda funny looking, but that's OK....worked great.
