Redondo Lumpsucker hunt

Post by stphnmartin »

Went looking to video a Lumpsucker Sunday night, but it was a fruitless search. Anyone have some tips to finding these critters? There was a giant crowd at Salty's for Easter, but my buddy and I had the water to ourselves. The particulate was starting to thicken.

I'll try and attach a video for the first time:

You'll find an odd one now and then, but as Kirsten said, if you want to be assured of finding one, check the eelgrass sometime after about mid-October ...
