GPO at Flagpole 1-18-14

Met up with KeithBoll today for a couple of dives at Flagpole and Elephant wall.
This was the first dive with my new camera today.
Dive one was at Flagpole.
We were given a rare treat today, a GPO out in the open.
I did find a pair of wolf eels on eggs but they were to far in the rocks to get a good pic.
Flagpole never disappoints there is always a good variety of life down there.

not much to see but a good 2nd dive

Taking tomorrow off from work for the first time in a month, hope I can get back to diving sometime the beginning of March... hope to catch you then.

I picked up a Sealife DC1200 with strobe and wide angle( did not use the wide angle today ).
It was on closeout for half price.

What a great way to start using your new camera! Great job on the pictures! Here is a couple of pics of the GPO. I only had my macro lens - so it was challenging to get a good body shot of the GPO!

he doesn't look happy about being caught in the open... nice eye shot though.... another 25' back and you might have got a full body shot
