Bonaire trip
Back in February I made my first trip to Bonaire. In fact, it was my first tropical trip ever and it was awesome to be free of a dry suit and on an island surrounded by dive sites. Coming from the puget sound, I had difficulty doing video having never experienced so much ambient light! It took me the week to figure it out and realize my lighting system, while all powerful in the murky waters of the sound, is very weak against the sun.
We stayed at Coral Paradise and Dive Buddy was our operator. My buddies and I did 23 dives over 7 days and here's a video highlight of those dives compressed into 3 or so minutes. Some of the dives sites we hit were:
Alice and wonderland
Oil slick leap
Karpata
1,000 steps
Knife (Klein bonaire)
Hilma Hooker
Sweet dreams
Eden beach
White hole (east coast diving)
Park sites 3, 5 & 6

Bonaire trip
Awesome! You could loop that video and put it on a big screen tv and have your own home aquarium. You saw some cool critters. Makes me want to go back
Re: Bonaire trip
Damn, you're good! Wonderful. Captured much of Bonaire in a little time. Time capsule.

Loved this video, and I love Bonaire diving!
I like how you can hear the parrotfish munching on the reef, and the sound was just right with the music. Do you mind if I ask what you were shooting with? The moray going after his lunch in slo mo was nice too.

Thanks tangfish. I use a sony cx550 camera in a light and motion bluefin housing with 2 sola 1200s. I didn't even notice the green moray was going after a fish till I slowed down the video and noticed it escaping!

Wow, those Sola 1200s really light things up. Color is great. Kudos!
