A short video of diving Hood Canal, Hoodsport & Sund Rock last weekend.
http://youtu.be/kCYSHxdki3c
Camera's used were a new Intova HD Edge and Canon G-11.
Most of the video clips were manual white balanced at depth when using the G-11 and the Intova clips were color corrected with multimedia software. (the Intova has manual white balance, but I did not have time to learn to use it as most of the video were the second day of camera use).
Lot's of wolfie's at Sund Rock and some seals too.
Enjoy,
PapaZ

That's great. Never heard of folks seeing seals at Sund Rock. I think my head would explode with happiness seeing one while diving. Is there a Hood Canal spot where they are seen more often?

Dive Cove 2 in the wintertime, in the dark. Seals are a dangblasted nuisance!

Thanks for the amazing video PapaZ!!!!!!
It's really great! I'd love to go diving on the Hood! That hotel seems really cool! What is it called?
I love the wolf eels & Nudabrinks!!! :-)
I think maybe I met you once at Keystone when I was doing my open water dive back in July!
Have a nice week!

Re: Last Days of Summer on "The Hood"
Yes, was good days of diving.
The 'hotel' is actually a rental house, "The Yellow House" in Hoodsport. Information is available on the Hoodsport n Dive's web site :
http://www.hoodsportndive.com/index.php ... l-property
Also, additional pictures and information about it on our club's web page:
https://sites.google.com/site/yakimadiv ... llow-house
Disregard the information about cost, etc., as that is shown for our club members when we rent it.
Best diving,
PapaZ
