Enjoyed 10 days in Grand Cayman.
7 days on the east end with Ocean Fontiers Divers
and
4 days with Dive Tech Divers at Cobalt Coast Resort on the northwest end.
(Colbalt Coast was superb! They really went to extra lengths to make us feel very welcome and meet are needs!)
Both were great to dive with.
Weather and viz was great our first couple days, then the 'rainy season' began.
Cloudy, wind, thunder lightning, rain. Viz went from 100 feet to hazy 40 feet.
With Ocean Frontiers, we had a major thunder/lightning storm upon us at the end of our second dive.
Lightning strike about 50 feet from us into the water. All of us had to do a wet suit check! Captain on the open bridge said he felt all tingly over his body!
Back at dive shop, I asked for a refund due to all the thunder-lightning, dive shop operator said they would charge a little extra for the 'light show'!
Here are a few pictures.
Enjoy
