Salmon Run - 10/1/15

Post by Scubie Doo »

Mr. YellowEye and ScubaJess invited me to photograph some cool Salmon at the Cedar River. We waded in around 7:30am and caught a glimpse of a couple of Salmon. They were moving all over and very skittish. However, it was a "bucket list" item I got to check off :-)

Thank you YE and SJ for inviting me :-)

Very nice, I can only imagine how hard is to take the pictures in low visibility with only few fish around. Great job!

I take photos because I like it, not because I'm good at it. :) by Unknown

Yeah, it sure was tough. Viz was about 1-2' and the current was strong. Especially when you put your camera rig in the water and it acts like a big sail :)

If I do it again I'm going to try something with clearer water. But I will let you know.
