Caribbean Fish ID

Post by PapaZ »

Enjoyed a couple days of diving warm Caribbean waters at Playa del Carmen last month.

Little help on some fish ID please:

1. Blue stripped grunt

2. The 'stripped' markings on these yellow fish are slightly different, not as parallel as the blue stripped grunt. Different type of grunt?

3. In the previous years of diving in these waters, I have not seen these brown colored fish schooled in these numbers.
ID please?

2 with the diagonal stripes are French Grunts. The other one (3) is a High Hat, I think.

NOT diving is NOT an option
