Deception Pass & Skyline

Took a trip north and met YE and SJ for a dive at Deception Pass and then Skyline. Both were the first time for me. The colors of deception pass are quite disorienting. It was really hard to decide what to video so I just tried to relax and enjoy the first dive there. The current was gentle and I found areas that were completely still and managed a 1 hour and 10 minute dive. The current began to roar on the way out.

I drove over to Skyline and cased the joint by myself. I decided to give it a go and it's a beautiful wall at the end of a long swim. I timed the current well and went out and back.

Thanks! About 1:20pm for the splash at Skyline. I didn't see a single wolf eel unfortunately.

Love the wide angle shots YE. The 2nd and 3rd ones down really appeal to me, I think because of the contrast of the colors against the water column.

That's a special place we're fortunate to visit.
