Flagpole Today!

Post by KeithBoll »

Dale and I went back to Flagpole - first time I have been there in about six weeks! All the wolf eels are still happy and in their dens, surrounding the pinnacle. The viz today was limited on top - but cleared to probably 20 feet below 20 feet. Nice that you could actually see stuff! We visited one of the several Octos on eggs. Also - Dale spotted a baby grunt sculpin out in the open, foraging for food. All in all - a great day to be out diving!

Great pictures, Keith and it was good to be out diving today!

We also found a grown up grunt still hanging out in his tube. We were kind of amazed to find another rock pile about 100' deep and across quite a bit of sand from the knuckle. Have to go back and explore it when I'm not sucking up bottom time.

Is there a buoy out there? Last I heard (sometime ago) it was gone.

Been too long since I was last out there.
