Alki cove 2

Post by JJHACK »

I wish parking was not such an issue here! My wife dive with me. Her first trip here since being certified. We had a great time. She used all her own equipment for the first time as well. Rented tanks only.

Water was pretty good, 52 deg pretty consistent to 45 feet. Viz was fair maybe 8 feet or so. She saw her first octopus! We did two dives with 80cf HP tanks. Her comfort level must be good, we stayed down for 55 minutes on the second tank! That's a pretty long dive for her with 80cf.

Sunday we had a couple tanks left when we got home. Tried to see what the Columbia river looked like. Unfortunately the Viz was zero, short dive. Our dog in his red life jacket did not understand our dissapearance overboard!
