Kelly (Honudiver) and another dive buddy and I dove Cove 2 on Thursday night. It was Chris' first post cert drysuit dive, so we needed to dial that in. He did great! We had the opportunity to play with three harbor seals for an hour. They were all over us the entire time. Not much other wildlife down there, likely due to our three new best friends. Vis was OK, maybe 15 feet. Rained hard after the last dive so we got wet putting our street clothes back on. After the dive, Chris and I went to Billy McHales expecting to meet up with the normal ThThTh group. It was after we ordered our food that I found out you guys actually went to the Time Out instead of BM. How was the dive at Redondo?

Time Out Ale House looks like a nice place. Billy McHales was ridiculously loud last night. Is that going to be a regular change?

I think we need to try Pho after, a nice HOT soup after freezing dive sounds lovely!
I still Like Billy's better then Half Time...
Was fun to try a new place, sorry we missed you guys! I need to meet up with you to deliver the NWDC shirt

What a fun night! Plenty of lumpies, decent viz, great buddies!
+1 on Billy's over Timeout. Their menu was pretty limited. It was really fun to try a new place, we should keep trying! Pho/Vietneamese?... maybe... if they serve a killer Bahn Mi and/or green papaya salad!
Sorry you missed it Scuba Swanie! Glad you had fun with the seals!
