Couple of recent dives

Post by YellowEye »

Howdy Folks!
Here are some snaps from some of my recent dives

ThThTh last week at Redondo
Junkyard yesterday

I found two lumpies at Redondo. They're getting really big now. Look for them next to the red succulent kelp.

I hadn't been to the junk yard in a while. I saw a hooded nudi, pink mouth hydroids, sea spiders, sea hares, lots of alabaster and striped nudibranch, one three lined nudibranch, as well as lots of seapens. However, there were very few rockfish and fish in general compared to last time there :( Hope this is not a pattern...

Hope you enjoy

Very cool. I saw a large orange lumpie near the carousel boat on Saturday. Kind of unusual.

Beautiful snaps YE!!! Love the green seahare! The texture on the PSL is crazy cool!!! Also the tiny alien on the PMH is adorable!! :luv: :eric: :partydance: :taco:

I'm also worried about the lack of fish! I only saw one flounder at junk yard and I didn't see any rockfish also only saw a few Cali sea cucumbers and a bunch of sad looking Plumose Anemones ...

What time of day did you see the lumpy Scubie? Also the Seattle Spiny Lumpsuckers sounds like a really cool Hockey team name!!!

Here are a few of my shots.

I saw it at about noonish. Mid day. I was pleasantly surprised.

Here's a still from the video taken at the Junkyard. I've been practicing with a snoot for video.

Very cool Stephen. My camera is dry as I’m within the two week dive vacation window :)

Yeah, I need to get down there and Lumpy hunt. My old eyes seem to have a dickens of a time locating the little buggers.

Great pictures, and really cool find on the Sea Hare!
