Dove at Sunnyside yesterday with SMartin and Val. Viz was decent and there was plenty to take pictures of. I was trying my snoot after a long time away from it. Had a subpar day for photographs. However, I did find a nudibranch I do not remember seeing. I believe this is a Ancula Gibbosa with a parasite in the gill area. It was very small, and I had my snoot, so the pictures are not great.
Here are a few others.
Have a great Sunday!

Great shots Scubie. You fared much better than I subject wise. Tried finding the nudi you shot in the PNW marine life book and couldn't find a match.

As usual, great, sharp pics.
I will try my guess on the nudi, Pacific ancula, (Ancula gibbosa)

Awesome, thanks Jan! I suspected Ancula Gibbosa, but wasn’t sure. It is amazing to have hundreds of dives and still see something new.Jan K wrote:As usual, great, sharp pics.
