Sund Rock 7/13

Went down to Sund Rock on a rare Friday off. It was a really big exchange and visibility was not good. Current was moving pretty good too. More than I have ever felt at Sund Rock. I had the place all to myself. First dive I went with the wide angle lens and switched to macro for the second. FYI coordinating with Cindy to get access was super easy and communications were prompt.

Awesome pictures! Excellent lighting on the nudibranchs. And I am so happy to see a really big sunstar!

I like that picture of the wolf eel nuzzling up to that sunflower star. Looks like a big healthy star too!

Sunflower sea star is gorgeous! We saw 3 at the Sund Rock a few weeks ago too.

The stars are still in good health. I saw 4. Hopefully they will come back in force. There could have been more but the vis was so terrible I had to swim right on top of anything in order to see it.
