Fantastic snaps YellowEye! I really love your Macro stuff, those Nudies are so cool! :luv: :taco: Also that kelp shot is super beautiful and I love the snap looking up at the pilings with crazy kelp and super cute tube snouts!

Man it was great fun diving with you guys! I think we gave Bob a fun send off! Thanks to those who came out! :luv: :eric: :taco:

Special thanks to Pen & Dave for bringing the super delicious pies :luv: :partyman: :burntchef:

It was a fun time at Keystone!

Forgot to mention.... the jetty's looking better than last year. There are lots fish, big lingcod, tunicates, and hydroids again with more nudibranch, less urchins! :)

However, the pilings are looking a bit sad.... :(

Oh, and you got to try the apple salted caramel pie from greenbank farm pies!

It was good meeting you guys finally! Looking forward to it again sometime. The jetty is in such good shape these days compared to the last couple years. Less barnacles and urchins, and more color than there's been. That big octo was really cool! Also, on our first dive after we finished checking out the pilings, there was SO MUCH small stuff (and a sunflower star) hiding along the line that we never even made it to the spur that goes down to the wolfie reef.

Image
This guy was out and about on the line near the pilings. There was another orange juvie in the rocks shallow along the jetty that we found later.

Lots of these guys on the line.

Lots of nudi love along the jetty.

Those are gorgeous photos! Sad to miss Bob before he left, but sticking to my theory that he’ll one day be back in the PNW.

Hope you’re settling into the warmer climate nicely Bob!
