Keystone Super Bowl Sunday

Met up with ScubaJess, YellowEye, stphnmartin, vjw at Keystone yesterday. Got in before it started snowing. Viz was subpar. 5-10 ft maybe? Cloudy enough to make photographing difficult even with macro. But still lots of life. Cockerell's dorid, Hudson's dorid, clown nudibranchs, multicolor dendronotid, sea lemons. Big pile perch. Big ling cod. Sounds like I missed a GPO. Couldn't find the den. Once it started snowing, we called it after one dive. Despite the cold, I enjoyed it better than staying inside all day. And now I'm trapped at home by snow anyway.

Nice shots Derek!

Man, where did you find that clown? I didn't see that guy!

Thanks. Must've been around the rock of life. It wasn't that long into my dive.

Beautiful snaps Derek! Was so great to dive with you guys in the snow. :)

I just love all the purple/pink rocks at Keystone, they make the best backgrounds.
