Far north ThThTh 5/2/19. Skyline-nasty and nude

Last Thursday I had to work out on Orcas Island, and since the tides were great I meet my friend Matt for an after-work swim at Skyline in Anacortes when I got off the ferry. Once we got down to depth the vis opened up into a nice although silty 15 ft or so. Although we failed on spotting any pskc's or candy stripe shrimp, we still had a good time. We did see a couple different "nasty crab" species (scaled crabs and a heart crab), and the 3 Lined Aeolid bloom was ridiculous. There were easily thousands crawling over everything on the wall. All the cucumbers were opened up also adding that nice bit of color that is so enjoyable. As an added bonus, the Stimpson Sun Stars were spawning, so we watched those for awhile before the current picked up and sent us back to a tailgate beer.
Nasty crabs!
Spawning sun stars
Lots of cucumbers
