YDC at 'Pirate's Cove'

Post by PapaZ »

The Yakima Dive Club enjoyed the weekend diving "Pirate's Cove" (We renamed The Cove for the weekend in celebration of International Talk Like A Pirate Day). September 13-15.
The Hood Canal waters viz was a hazy 15-20 feet with temperatures about 50 degrees.
Our stay at The Yellow House was a fun social time with plenty of food, new friends and plenty of tales.
Highlight of the diving...Not one, not two but three GPO's and one 'Red' in Pirates Cove. The GPO's were fair sized, heads about soccer ball diameter.
Here are a few photos of our adventures.

Looks like fun was had by all. Those are some wonderful pics. I'd love to get up there and dive this site.
