Junk Yard

Post by YellowEye »

SM, VJW, SJ, and I took JPA for his first time to Alki Junkyard today. Fun dive! And we had a great brunch at cactus afterward.
SJ and I had so much fun in the shallow that we had a max depth of 15'. We were so happy the sun came out for a while!
I was surprised we were the only divers there with that south wind forecast. Oh well. Hope you all had some good dives this weekend.

What a fun weekend! :taco: :partydance:

Sad we couldn't make it to Keystone due to crazy wind. But we still got in some pretty fantastic dives at sunrise and junk yard! The sea critters and viz are really nice this time of year! Also so thankful for my amazing dive buddies :luv:

Great shots, above and under. It proves, you don't have to go deep for beauty :)
Keystone was not in the cards on Saturday. And visibility on Sunday wasn't good, too much silt in the water column.

I take photos because I like it, not because I'm good at it. :) by Unknown

Thanks for the Keystone update Jan, we miss you! Hopefully we can join you on Sunday if the wind allows :)

I got jumped by 2 or 3 of them as soon as I crossed the eelgrass. Took me 15 seconds to realize what they were. That was the only decent picture I managed to snap before they took off.
