New Year's Dive at Point Whitney

Post by 60south »

A really great turnout, and fantastic weather (considering the forecast) at Point Whitney on 1/1. The dive and potluck was put together by Octopus Gardens Diving in Port Townsend. Water temp 45F, vis at depth 20-25 ft, with GPOs, flatfish, thousands of shrimp, and a sea lion cruising through.

There is a GPO hiding in there. The crab shell midden pile gives away the lair location.
