Caught the low slack at Davidson Rock this afternoon. 15' in the kelp on top, 45' at depth - made it easy to spot a bunch of cool fish and inverts. Even the boat driver got some critter fun - very friendly Minke was feeding alongside.

I care about Tillamook cheese, and happy cows make happy cheese, and you can't have happy cows without happy water, so thank you for sharing sir :burntchef:

And the water off Camano Island was about 15 feet at 15 feet

First time taking pictures with a strobe light. Some weird combination of colors came out as a result and a lot of pictures with a dark shadow right in the middle and bottom of the frame!

Oops... been neglecting this thread.

Redondo 8-21 silt in the shallows, 15' or so at the bottle field with gardients in between.

Keep wondering when our 'normal' awesome late summer viz is going to show.

I wonder too Tom. Possession Point Fingers Aug.21 acceptable 15 to 20'visibility below the 20 foot depth, but still not without the particles causing the picture taking backscatter headaches..

We are going there today! We decided to haul all the gear down to the beach. The ranger does not allow divers to drive their cars down the hill to unload the gear anymore! We don't have carts so we will have to make several trips and use backpacks! :joshsmith:

Viz at Edmonds this afternoon was pretty poor -- maybe 10 feet at best. Lots and lots of small fish in the murk, though. And my second ever Cockerell's Dorid!

Cove 2, better today than yesterday... a bit of snot in the water here and there, but diminishing by the day... water clarity is pushing 40+ feet, it 'seemed' like as far as the lights could see ;)

diving is getting AWESOME out, there are like 5 octos at cove 2, 3 or 4 of them still on eggs... get out and DIVE!

:)

Cove 2 this morning at depth was pushing 30 feet! The vis was great! We did the boundary line and then cut across to the I-Beams - saw seven GPO's, including a couple of big ol' Wallys!
