Possession Point Fingers Monday 21st. Very silty all the way down, visibility floundering between 3 to 10 feet
depending on the downdraft current bringing sand down from above in form of sandfalls. :(

gutholmj, great pics, but that looks like much better vis than 25'! Dove Sund rock sunday, vis very kicked up, parking lot packed, dive class by fishbowl. Settled for one dive to south wall, just usual suspects. Vis was probably 10' down to approx 20 fsw, then opened up to maybe 15'. Still good to get wet tho.

Admittedly, the vis from 0-50 fsw was less that it has been in months but still 6-10'. Below 90 fsw, it was at least 15'. All the pics for the day make me want to gouge my eyes out.

Sund Rock today vis approx 8' down to about 40fsw, then a little better, maybe 10-12'. Top layer of water colder than
at depth more comfortable. First dive with dry gloves, that helped imensely!

Jorsted Creek today- viz sucked! (And we were told it was better than Sund or Octopus Hole). Chop mucked it up down to about 60' (maybe 2-5' viz, really murky and silty). Super silty. Viz cleared to maybe 10' around 75', although it was so dark it was almost a night dive! The rain and mud flowing into the canal from the snow made it gross, and it was wicked cold!

Sund Rock was a murky 15-20' yesterday - not wonderful, not horrible, the water was wet, the lings were huge - all in all a great day!

TTN tonight was pretty darn good! I'd say 20-25 feet of viz, a lumpy and a baby snailfish......

TTN a solid 25'+ today, pretty clear, thou typical barren Winter life. What few fishies were visible were tucked into the tire piles looking a. scared, b. cold, or c. ??

Viz at Rendondo today seemed pretty good -- I'd have guessed 20-25 feet.

But if Viz was so good, how could I miss the reflector piles? I made it from the big pipe, past the pipe boat, all the way to the Beetle (which sure is falling apart these days), the PVC floats, and the rubble wall -- but didn't see the reflector piles.

(Must be me, right? 'Cause the viz was good... lots of icky debris on the bottom... but I really don't see how I missed the reflector piles.)

Cove 2, a very hazy 15 feet or so, no change between the surface and 100 fsw. Not much life, either!

Keystone Jetty Friday 25th. 15' in the beginning of slack, got worse as the current kicked in. Entry at low tide is getting difficult. The Bull kelp and seaweed getting thick in the shallows...
