150ft was still really nice @Sund

For the first time, I finally saw an Octo outside of its den!

60-75 fsw - 15 ft

Below rec depths... well, I don't go there... can't say.

At 95 few viz started opening up to 20 ft. By 110 - 150 viz was 30-40. Lots of critters in the 120-150 range. Mostly rock fish, sculpins, gunnels, and crabs.

Surprisingly good tonight at Cove 2. 15-20ft, although a bit hazier in the shallows.

We did Redondo on a low tide last evening ... vis down to 30 fsw was 15-20 feet. At depth ... below 50 fsw it was 30+.

Finally ... I think this coming week it's time to get out and enjoy some decent vis ...

Ugh, EUP tonight less than 1 ft viz down to 20fsw, maybe 5-10 ft after that.

Damn, was hoping to catch it on a good viz day.

There's a gigantic dinoflagellate right now. They are chowing down on all the plankton. The bloom runs from West Point northwards to Admiralty inlet-ish. So try somewhere between West Point and Tacoma for the best vis. Outside of the dinoflagellate bloom but where they have eaten all the algae.

Port Townsend yesterday and today: 5-10 in the first 30fsw, 15-25 down to 110fsw.

And the barnacles in the shallows are going crazy sweeping up all the bloom! :taco:
