Saturday 6/22 Possession point fingers. 15 - 20 all the way down to 174 fsw. I was hoping for better viz below 100 fsw but oh well. Glad we didn't use the scooters, could have easily become separated from dive buddy.

Going to try out Redondo next week - hopefully the great viz continues to hold.

Sunday 6/23 - Hood Canal - Dabob Seamount (Pinnacle)

Depth 0 - 12 ft: 30 ft of visibility and 62 degree water
Depth 12ft - 40ft: - 2ft visibility and 49 degree water temp
Depth 45ft plus: 50ft + of Vis

FYI...
You need to have a about a +2 tide to launch/retrieve a small boat at Misery Point. We got to the launch at 9:00 when the tide was at zero and the ramp was completely out of the water.

Yesterday while kayaking in Wollochet Bay, I could see almost 2-3 feet down into the water... I think we have all your particulates matter!

Today at Alice in Wonderland we were wishing for 5 foot vis but got stuck with this type of vis instead.

Viz on Wed night at Redondo at around 6pm was fairly decent...
About 30ft down at the Carosol boat and on the up slope. We did have some Northerly current at the end of our dive...and viz wasn't too good in the shallows.

Salt Creek on 6/29-30; 15' on the inside around the kelp going to 20+ on the outside. Large particulates in the water. No evidence of the Elwa silt that I've heard warnings about.

Pt. Hudson 6/30 - sucked, maybe 5'.

Did 2 dives on 7/2.

On the first one at Alki Pipeline on a fairly high low-tide around slack before flood, viz was terrible--prob 3-5ft most of the way down, opening up a bit at 30fsw near the pipe outflow.

Second dive at Cove 2 had similarly crappy viz but since we went deeper, we were able to get below the crud starting at around 25fsw. Probably still about 15ft of viz at 70-100fsw.

Vis at Cove 2 tonight was terrible, 3 ft at best, above 30 fsw and inside the 3rd yellow buoy. Deeper and further out it was Ok - maybe 20 ft, but pitch black.
