It was great to see Ron back!

Viz was maybe 10-15, but _at the same time_ the water was so blurry that at times I could barely read the PPo2 on my backlit wrist gauge! BTW: There was bioluminescence in the water too!

Redondo, August 7th, very low tide, 2 to 5 ft, and that is generous.

It looked pretty horrible when I walked out on the dock, Tom..... I was hoping that it would open up at depth for you...

Sekiu Jetty - 15' clouds of krill and candlefish, tons of life, rumors of two gray whales but alas, none found.

Viz in Edmonds last night was very poor in the shallows. Coll and I only dove to about 21 feet and we called the dive at about 30 mins since it was so bad. Our dive buddies said in the deeper areas it was a bit better but still pretty low viz. I am hoping it clears up as we are diving there tomorrow night again and I hope for some more Bio. We got out of the water too early to see it last night.

8/15 @ Mukilteo Lighthouse: Probably only 3ft on the surface, opening up pretty decently to about 20ft below about 50fsw
8/16 @ Day Island Wall: 10-15ft in the shallows, opening up to more like 20ft along the wall

Saltwater State Park today -- Viz ranged between good and a whole lot better than that. I think there were areas where we had 30 feet or better. Lots of rockfish and ratfish, and no current at all at depth on a strong flood. Surface current blowing south, and the top 8 or 9 feet of water was almost ridiculously warm!
