Three Tree on top was smooth water and 30fsw vis with a little particulate in the shallows as we dropped.

30' is conservative. I could see the surface at 38'.

Viz in Barkley Sound was anywhere from 10' to 80' depending on current and dive site. There was a layer of dark algae about 20 feet thick just about everywhere we went and 40-80' visibility below that.

Sund Rock 9/29
high tide around 3:30pm and viz was pretty good!
I'd say at least 15ft viz all the way from the surface down to 60fsw.
*I think the winter viz is starting to show up*
...I like going to the chamber.. They have great food there, and awsome live music "H20doctor"

Viz was great at about 25-30 fsw. Tons of hooded nudis out and other nudis cruzing all around. The weather cooperated as well with a tiny bit of rain AFTER we entered and were surface swimming then dry once we descended and still dry when we got out! Great dive today.

Outstanding vis at Alki Junkyard on this evening's slack before ebb. Easily 30-40ft!

Possession point fingers 10/19 @ 1330 - 15:20
5-15 at start of dive with shallow depth 3-8 fsw and 5-15 down to 120 fsw.

By end of dive improving to 10-25 with depths above 60 fsw showing the best improvement.

Sunday Rock MCA 10/25 @ 0900
Top 20 feet about 15, below that 30 +
The halocline was so pronounced at 10 feet it looked like you could bump your head on it. It was also considerably colder than the water below.

Friday 10/25 - Day Island Wall
About 20 ft in the shallows opening up to 40 ft plus on the wall. Had a great 85 minute dive with little to no current, a bunch of octos and more wolf eels than you could count including one pair on eggs.

Three Tree North, Thursday 11-7, a hazy but solid 25'. Not bad considering surface chop, cloudy, and windy.

Junk yard 11/13

Great night dive last night at the 'yard! Viz was at least 25 feet and just the slightest current as we headed toward C3 then on the way back almost stand still water conditions. Saw a few tiny squids! So cute. Lots of sail fins and only 2 dead sea stars but there was not a large number of living ones either.
