7/9 @ 3 Tree North:

0-30' up to 10' viz

30-70' around 15' viz

Lumpies are getting bigger...around the size of a pea now.

Cove 2 was pretty sweet. Once you were below 20 feet vis opened up. I'd say 30+ feet. I haven't seen vis this good in a while.

Redondo, afternoon of 7-11, high tide, lots of large whale snot in the water. Viz in the shallows was 25' plus. The mast pier was very visible from 25-30 fsw - very nice! Down deeper viz was less - a bit over 15'.

Hoping for our Summer viz!

Sund Rock: 7-20-2014, 3pm
Mild current pushing north. Viz was good below about 35-40fsw.
I'd guess a respectable 10-15ft viz.
Very small particulates in the water still.

Tacoma Pooper Pipeline, viz sucked ass at 140ft > 200ft. Rec limits was diveable in the 20-30ft range depending on depth. Shallow was nice, the deeper you got, the worse it got. Yea, its summer craptastic viz...

Cove 2 tonight around high tide was surprisingly good. 20ft or so of vis. Lots of egg yolk jellies floating around and being devoured by anemones.

Sund Rock today was 25' plus once you hit 40 or 50 fsw - quite nice. The top 20' wasn't bad either, maybe 15', better than usual. That area between 20 & 40, however.... silt city.

Redondo on Sunday was incredible. Went down at the MAST, made my way down to the north bottlefield, south through the trough, and up in the south bottlefield ... ending about 200 feet south of the boat ramp. Vis below 60 fsw was basically clear. Coming through the north bottlefield at 80-85 feet I could see the whole thing ... at least 50 foot vis ... I didn't even need a light.

Redondo is a solid 30' + on the low tide Thursday morning. It dropped a bit in the trough, but it is really nice.
