6/10 3-4ft on a -1ft tide. About a mile south of the Mukilteo lighthouse, we were hanging out with a free diving buddy so max depth 40ft. crappy viz at 40.

Three Tree Point: above 20 fsw viz was 3' - positively Redondoesque. 20-50 fsw it improved considerably, 8-10'. Below 50 fsw it was 10-12'. SO WELCOME after our viz at Redondo. Might even post a trip report about this dive later.

Vis at the ThThTh dive thursday night at Redondo was really nice. Top 30fsw was about 2', but below that it opened up to about 20' of wonderful clear vis.

Visibility at Redondo was 15+ ft below 30fsw on Thursday (Jun 15) at 7:00PM. Runoff from rain earlier in the day had not impacted visibility.

Three Tree on a very low tide, 1st dive was maybe 3' to 8'. 2nd dive was 3' to 20', much better! Viz was highly variable with the large exchange and the generally crappy viz we've had, but the second dive was almost up to old Three Tree standards!

Sund Rock was 20' above 20 fsw (except for the hairline) 3' from 20 to 45' or so, then opens up nicely below 50 few. Very definite thermocline as well.

Sunday - 25th
Port Hadlock bay - The Comet
Viz was absolutely horrendous, maybe 5'-ish, we swam by it on the downslope side the first time, almost swam by it on the upslope side, luckily caught a glimpse of it... it was then game on for 60South and I, both first time on this wreck.

Just like the Ranger, it's shallow, so dive this one on a flood, viz sucks at 20' in this little bay.

Also not much left of the old girl, rapidly decaying, maybe 5-10 more years before it won't be much to dive.

Three Tree on the 29th was 10 to 20' viz with clumps of "whale snot" in the water column. If I remember correctly, said "whale snot" is algae clumping as it dies / ends it's life cycle, and portends better viz in the next week or two. Here's hoping!

Skyline, probably a very foggy 10'. Worst I've seen in some time at a site that does not get good viz.

Deception Pass yesterday (7/02) was about 5-10 feet viz, very milky, yet still very beautiful if you look at YE's Pics.
On land viz was epic. Super nice day out at the Pass. :)
