Did you see a GPO on the upper reef at all? The shop on the island told me there was one towards the bottom of it. I haven't been out there since Jan.

PSKC!!! Almost spring time, and love is in the air (water) :luv:

Also, Mukilteo T-Dock on 3-17-18 was a dark 8-10 ft on dive 1 down to the geodome at 55 fsw. 2nd dive was a little better even with the ebb, still a murky 15'ish though. Pretty strong halocline at 8 ft near the stormwater discharge pipe made for some funny viewing of all the baby sea stars!

Sidenote, there was an absolute dogpile of big mottled stars on the little tire reef up from the dome. I don't recall seeing that many in one spot in the sound in a long time. Not sure if that was an actual positive sign of recovery, or just a coincidence.

Sund Rock 3-20-2018 was ...interesting.
Water was 2 degrees warmer than inner Sound.
The green algae bloom is in full swing.
Top 10 fsw 10' viz.
10 to 55/60 fsw 2' to 3' viz.
Below 60 fsw 15' ish viz, night dive conditions.
Lots of life, 3 deep, long, nitrogen loading dives!

Edmonds this morning well after high tide had 50+ ft of vis if not more at times! Never seen it that good. Sooooooooo many nudies and cranky cabezon, and the sea pen outbreak is still going strong. Also saw 2 healthy midsize sunflower stars on Centennial Way. Epic conditions for sure.

Edmonds Saturday was the best I've ever seen it, by probably double the distance. Hard to measure when it's that far, but 50 foot would not be an exaggeration. I would conservatively say 45-60 foot!

4-8 at Keystone. The pilings and jetty down to the bottom of the slope were a bowl of milk due to the winds and waves. No surprise there. Should have brought cereal instead of scuba gear (not really)! Down a bit deeper it opened up to a hazy 15ft.
