ThThTh 8/1 Three Tree point, high tide. EPIC viz! I could see the whole length of the golf ball boat, from about a boat length distance away. Viz declined as the tide started ebbing.

8/3 alki junkyard, high tide. Great viz! 20+

Slack was around 8am, so it was running later than predicted at admiralty, in case you want to go tomorrow. Lots of sea pens, flounders, perch and tubesnouts in the shallows. My buddies saw the Wolfie and an octo at depth.

C2 - Sunday AM 0700, high tide, and almost empty parking lot. Fairly epic! Maybe 30'+ down to below the logs, then got a bit cloudier as we got deeper. Still had daylight down to 145+'. Also seemed to be agreeable with the Lion's Manes, had three really large jellies between the deep logs and the bottom of the I-beams.

Viz @ Redondo...@ noonish, 25ft
It always amazes me to be "reminded" of how a dive site looks and the "Oh, I forgot about that!" till viz is clear!

Sund Rock 8/11 at 10am - at least 15ft! At 60ft still had no use for flashlight. Billions of tiny shrimp-like creatures were the only thing that clouded the waters but only in a certain location.

Hit the afternoon high tide at Redondo today and visibility was an amazing 20-30 feet from about 25-70 feet deep. It actually was a little worse from 70-90 depth, but still a solid 10-15 feet

Salt Creek 9/19 -- crapitycola viz!! Viz was so bad we had to call the dive. Less than one foot of viz in thick kelp in a potential surge zone is not a good idea! I did see a lot of red eye medusa for the few minutes I was down there though. Sadly this is the first weekend in a while where Salt Creek is suitable.... Save yourself the drive of going out there.

We went to FlagPole as a plan B. Viz was 20 feet or so below 60'. LOTS of nice rockfish about, a few wolfies (one in open), nice cloud sponges as shallow as 70 feet.

Ugh, thanks for saving me the trip. I was going to go out there tomorrow!

On Tuesday the guy who got out ahead of me claimed he could see clearly from the geodome to the surface. By the time we got in the current was up and ours was not that good. i would say 25' at best.

Keystone yesterday in the morning was a nice 20 to almost 30 ft depending on where you were. The pilings felt like swimming in an aquarium. Skyline in the afternoon was the usual hazy 10 to 15.
