New diver - looking for dive buddy

Post by vadsam »

Hello All,

Hoping to find a dive buddy here.

About me:
• I live in Bellevue, WA
• I have completed SSI OW and dry suit certification during May 2013
• I have done 10 dives so far, all in the Puget sound area
• I've my own drysuit, fins, snorkel, mask, gloves and boots. I rent BC, regs, hood, weights and cylinders
• Prefer to do weekend dives
• Air consumption and buoyancy are 2 main things I want to improve on
• I run through my tank mostly under 20 min :-(

I would like to go out with an experienced diver who is OK with ~20 min dive time and doesn't mind providing guidance while I try to get more comfortable and improve on my diving skills.

Please let me know if anyone is interested.

Regards,
Vadi

My weekend time is tight . . . but I don't mind diving with new folks (love to have the opportunity to show people critters for the first time!) and I pay for my gas by the cubic foot, so it doesn't matter to me if the dive is short.

I have some weekend days in January. Why don't you send me a PM? BTW, I'm a PADI divemaster and do a lot of work with OW classes, so I'm pretty good with novices.

If you want to do some south sound stuff there are some cool spots. Let me know. I dive some nice easy areas with cool stuff to see around here.

Hei Vadi, I live in Redmond and need a buddy too. I have been only to Edmonds here in the PNW, but I have 80+ dives in log book. If you are still looking for a buddy, and would consider a not so experienced here in the PNW we could go splash together - weekends are better for me.
